Imaging and washout

The production terminal is the floor team’s workspace after the CDI operator has arranged a gang and recorded its handoff to the Esko queue. Workers finish imaging and handle washout for the whole physical sheet. Layout and orientation are selected beforehand in the full application’s CDI workspace.

Sign in with your PIN

A browser is paired with the organization once. Each worker then unlocks it with a personal four-digit PIN using the touch keypad, keyboard, or USB number pad. The fourth digit submits automatically. If the device is not paired, follow Set up a new floor terminal. Any active organization member with floor access can sign in; the CDI Operator function is not required for terminal use. A floor PIN grants only restricted terminal access. Production actions are attributed to the worker and terminal. The header shows the terminal and location, Production queue, Completed, connection status, worker name, Full app, and Lock / switch. Lock the session whenever you leave the device or hand it to another worker.

Find the physical gang

The Production queue shows active gangs at the terminal’s location:

• Queued for imaging, submitted by the CDI operator;
• older Imaging records;
• Awaiting washout; and
• Washing.

Use Status to narrow the list, Refresh for an immediate update, and Load more for additional results. The visible queue refreshes periodically. Drafts remain in CDI until submitted and do not appear here. Open the gang that matches the physical sheet. Check its gang code, material, sheet number, members, and saved arrangement before recording progress. The layout is read-only on the terminal.

Finish imaging

When the team collects the imaged sheet, select Finish imaging. This applies to all current plates in the gang and:

• records their imaging completion;
• changes the gang to Awaiting washout; and
• records the reserved inventory sheet as Used.

Selecting a queued gang does not start a machine or report that exposure has finished. Press Finish imaging only after the physical imaging work is done.

Start and finish whole-gang washout

1. Select Start washout when the gang enters washout. Its status becomes Washing.
2. Select Finish washout when the work is complete. Its status becomes Washed and completion is recorded for the current members.

These actions operate on the whole gang. A gang can reach washout while other plates from the same job are still waiting at CDI. The job stage advances only when all of its current required plates have passed the relevant step. Once all required plates are washed, the delivery operator packs the completed job in Delivery in the full application, prints the shipping documents, and records physical handover to Nova Poshta.

Replace one failed plate

For a failed member, select Queue replacement, enter the Reason for replacement, and submit. A reason is required. The failed attempt remains on its original gang and is marked Failed · replaced. Only that separation receives a new attempt in the CDI ready queue. Other members keep their completed work, and the required and billed quantity does not increase. The CDI operator arranges the replacement on another gang. Replacements are unavailable for shipped, archived, or actively packed work. Cancel an active delivery parcel before changing its physical contents.

Review completed work

Open Completed to view washed gangs at the terminal’s location. This is paginated production history, not a list limited to the last 24 hours. Open a gang to inspect its arrangement and individual members. For per-job status, orientation, gang links, and replacement attempts, an authorized full-app user can inspect the job’s Individual plates card. The terminal does not offer the old whole-line completion or two-minute undo workflow.

Connection and locking

The header reports Online, Offline, or Reconnecting. Production actions are unavailable while offline; changes are not queued for later submission. Wait for Online, then refresh or retry. A connection problem does not remove the terminal pairing. The worker session locks after 15 minutes without keyboard, touch, or pointer activity and expires after 12 hours even with activity. Enter a PIN again to continue; neither event removes pairing. Select Lock / switch to end the worker session. To use the full application, select Full app, or Open full Flexoworks from the PIN screen. Flexoworks first ends the floor worker session and clears any existing full-app session, then opens normal login. Internet access is required for that secure switch. Use Return to floor in the full-app sidebar to log out and return to the paired terminal’s PIN screen.
